Empowering Smallholders through Strengthening Female-Led Farmer Organizations

Indonesia
Trained 51 extension workers from West Java to facilitate goal setting, creating a business plan, and promoting gender equity in farmer groups. Seventy-six percent of the groups in the study started at least one new income-generating activity after the training.

Collaborating with partners at IPB University Bogor to investigate gender issues on oil palm plantations. Collected data from 600 households and presented findings to bring increased attention to the issues of gender equality.

Working on a multi-year video project to improve the school feeding programs by updating the nutritional curriculum and creating animated educational videos.
